Return Policy

Information on returns, complaints, and exceptions for live plants in accordance with applicable EU legislation.

I. General information

The Seller takes pride in the quality and health of the plants it ships and prepares each order individually with the utmost care.

However, due to the nature of the goods sold, special rules may apply to returns and complaints.

II. Withdrawal from the contract for live plants

The Buyer – consumer generally has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. This right does not apply where the statutory conditions for exclusion of the right of withdrawal are met, including cases specified in Section 1837 of the Civil Code.

Whether the right of withdrawal applies to a particular product depends on the nature of the goods and the statutory conditions applicable at the time of purchase.

III. Condition of Plants upon Delivery

The Seller ensures that, at the time of shipment:

  • the plants are healthy, vigorous, and carefully packaged;
  • the packaging is designed to enable the plants to withstand transport in the best possible condition.

The Seller is responsible for defects in the goods to the extent required by applicable law. The Seller is not responsible for deterioration occurring after delivery as a result of improper care, unsuitable growing conditions, inappropriate handling by the Buyer, or other circumstances attributable to the Buyer.

IV. Transport Damage / Defective Performance

If the Buyer receives plants in an obviously damaged condition or with signs of serious damage caused during transport, the Buyer is encouraged to:

  • contact the Seller without undue delay;
  • provide photographic documentation of the entire package, the contents of the shipment, and the details of any damage to the plants.

For practical reasons, the Buyer is encouraged to contact the Seller as soon as possible after receiving the shipment, preferably within 48 hours, if the plants show visible transport damage. Photographs of the package and the affected plants may be requested to help assess the complaint.

The 48-hour period is a practical recommendation only and does not limit any statutory rights of the Buyer.

V. Complaints about Live Plants

The Buyer is encouraged to report any visible defects as soon as possible after receiving the shipment, ideally within 7 days, particularly because live plants may change rapidly after delivery.

The Seller is not responsible for deterioration occurring after delivery as a result of improper care, unsuitable growing conditions, inappropriate handling by the Buyer, or other circumstances attributable to the Buyer.

The recommended reporting period of 7 days does not limit or replace any statutory rights of the Buyer.

VI. Individual Assessment

In justified and exceptional cases, the Seller may, at its discretion and after individual assessment, offer a partial refund, replacement of the plant, or another reasonable solution. Any such voluntary solution does not limit or replace the Buyer's statutory rights.
