Repotting Marathon Is Over — Big Spring Flytrap Restock Today

After weeks of soil, trays, rhizomes and controlled chaos, the repotting marathon is finally finished. My entire Dionaea Muscipula collection — more than 450 unique cultivars — has been repotted and settled into fresh substrate just in time for the new growing season.

It took a lot longer than expected, but seeing the greenhouse slowly transform from piles of trays into a refreshed, healthy collection made every minute worth it. And now comes the exciting part.

First Big Spring Restock — Today at 18:00 CET

Only two days after finishing the repotting, I went through the collection tray by tray and selected the healthiest and strongest plants that are ready to find a new home.

More than 50 Venus flytraps returning to the shopincluding 20 cultivars that have never appeared on my website before.

Some truly exciting names are joining the collection for the very first time:

🪴 Dionaea Muscipula ViC Krabby Patty
🪴 Dionaea Muscipula Fiamma
🪴 Dionaea Muscipula Red Periscope
🪴 Dionaea Muscipula FTS Maroon Monster
🪴 Dionaea Muscipula FTS Shogun Star
🪴 Dionaea Muscipula GJ Golbat
🪴 Dionaea Muscipula Prypiat
🪴 Dionaea Muscipula Fuzzy Teeth

These are cultivars many collectors have been asking about for a long time. And many others not even listed here.

Legendary Flytraps Return

Alongside the new arrivals, many well-known favorites are finally back in stock:

🪴 Dionaea Muscipula GJ Butterfly
🪴 Dionaea Muscipula Wine Mouth
🪴 Dionaea Muscipula Sunrise
🪴 Dionaea Muscipula Sith Lord
🪴 Dionaea Muscipula Pincushion
🪴 Dionaea Muscipula Marthas Lips
🪴 Dionaea Muscipula Kleopatra
🪴 Dionaea Muscipula GJ Explosion
🪴 Dionaea Muscipula Diflora Variegata Gialla
🪴 Dionaea Muscipula Alien

And I’m especially happy to include one local Czech cultivar:

🪴 Dionaea Muscipula Bohemian Garnet 🇨🇿

A Collection I Truly Love

Going through hundreds of plants during repotting reminds me every year why I started growing Venus flytraps in the first place. Each cultivar has its own character — different trap shapes, colors, teeth and growth habits.

Selecting plants for the shop is honestly one of the hardest parts, because I genuinely like every single one of them.

But I’m also excited that many of these plants will soon become part of collections all over Europe.

Don’t Miss the Restock

The first big spring restock goes live today at 18:00 CET on my website.

If you’ve been waiting for new cultivars or hoping to add something special to your collection, today is the day.

Some of these plants are available only in very limited numbers — and once they’re gone, they may not return for quite some time.

So stay tuned, refresh the page at 18:00 CET and good luck hunting your next Venus flytrap.

Thank you for all your support! 🌱
