My Everyday Escape: A Greenhouse Full of Magic

Morning Magic in the Greenhouse

The morning is my favorite. I usually sneak in a few quick pictures to share with my followers, especially when the sunrise hits just right. There's something magical about that soft, orange light falling over hundreds of sleepy Venus flytraps. It's like the whole place glows. No filter needed. Just pure, golden fairy-tale vibes.

Staying Connected Throughout the Day

After snapping a few shots (and maybe whispering “good morning” to my plants), I head to work. But I’m not really gone — thanks to the morning pics, I'm still connected to my little jungle and my followers throughout the day. I love seeing everyone’s reactions, especially when a sunrise photo hits just right.

Evening Greenhouse Check

When work is over, I don’t even go inside first — I go straight to the greenhouse. Every single day. Check the plants. Water if needed. Look for new traps, flowers, tiny surprises. It's like a daily roll call for my leafy army.

Pink Friday: The Highlight of the Week

And then comes my favorite part of the week: Friday evenings. After dinner, me and my boyfriend grab a gin and tonic (okay, sometimes two) and head to the greenhouse. We call it Pink Friday — because of the sunset, the lights, the drinks, and probably because everything just feels a little extra perfect.

The Fairytale Bench

We sit together on the bench — yes, I actually have a bench in the greenhouse (people laughed at first, but who's laughing now?) — and just be. We talk about plants, joke about silly things, dream up new projects, and just enjoy the magical glow of the lights bouncing off the bog in the middle.

My Little Secret Garden

It feels like a secret garden, tucked away from everything. Sometimes I think: if fairytales had greenhouses, they would probably look exactly like this.

Stay snappy 🌱
